Tamika Thomas-Smith is the creative mind behind JOUJOU Photography. Her unique style stems from over 10 years of experience in art and design as a visual storyteller. In 2009, she launched JOUJOU and set out on a journey to document the world around her.
Today, JOUJOU’s photographic work has expanded to capturing the mission of nonprofit organizations and telling their stories through compelling imagery. In 2015, JOUJOU was tasked with shooting the operations of one of the largest anti-hunger organizations in the country, Food Bank For New York City. Our work with this incredible charity hit the national stage, appearing in Times Square, Latina Magazine, CBS This Morning, Al Jazeera America and ABC7NY’s Here and Now.
At JOUJOU Photography we don’t believe in just taking photos, we capture life as it happens! Are you ready to begin your story? We’re ready to help you tell it. Contact us today!
